Private Assistance Programs
Call 303-344-7826 for Kaiser Permanente's unique community service program, Connections. This program provides low cost health care coverages for families who otherwise could not afford health care. Connections provides Kaiser Permanente benefits at greatly reduced rates for up to 24 months to eligible individuals and families. Monthly premiums range from $25.42-$76.26 for one person, and $73.46-$220.38, based on family size and income.
Unemployment, Labor Market, and Retraining Programs
Oftentimes injured workers are unable to return to their job, or even to do the same type of work they performed prior to the injury. Below are links to programs that may be helpful for seeking new employment or retraining.
- Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. The Colorado Division of Labor administers laws and regulations governing wages, minimum wage, working conditions, youth employment, certain union issues and grievances, and employment-related immigration laws.

- Unemployment Insurance Benefits. The UI Program provides temporary and partial wage replacement to workers who have become unemployed through no fault of their own.

- Labor Market Information. The Colorado LMI Gateway is a powerful job search, career assessment, and labor market information system. It was specifically designed for job seekers, students, case managers, training providers, and workforce professionals, and others seeking easily accessible job openings and labor market information. The system provides fast access to a complete set of job search and labor market research tools in one web site. It is designed to be a comfortable system for everyone, even the person who has little computer experience.
